The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Prosperous are the believers, 1 Who are humble in their prayers, 2 and from idle talk turn away 3 and at almsgiving are active 4 who strictly guard their private parts 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 Those who seek beyond that are transgressors. 7 Those who faithfully observe their trusts and their covenants; 8 And who pay heed to their prayers. 9 These are they who are the heirs, 10 Those who will get the inheritance of Paradise; they will abide in it forever. 11 And certainly did We create man from an extract of clay. 12 Then made him a drop of fluid in a secure shelter. 13 then We developed that drop into a clinging form, and We developed that form into a lump of flesh, and We developed that lump into bones, and clothed the bones with flesh. Then We brought him into being as a new creation, glory be to God, the best of creators, 14 after this you shall surely die. 15 and you will be brought back to life again on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And We have created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware. 17 And we send down from the sky water in measure, and We give it lodging in the earth, and lo! We are Able to withdraw it. 18 Then We brought forth for you therewith gardens of date-palm and vines; for you therein are fruits many, and thereof ye eat. 19 as well as a tree that issues from [the lands adjoining] Mount Sinai, yielding oil and relish for all to eat. 20 There is a lesson for you concerning cattle. We provide you with drink from their bellies and many other benefits. You can consume them as meat. 21 And you are carried on them and on the ship. 22
