Messengers, eat what is wholesome and do good deeds: I am well aware of what you do. 51 And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me." 52 But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its tenets. 53 But leave them alone, lost in their ignorance, until a [future] time. 54 Do they think that by all the wealth and offspring with which We provide them 55 We provide them with the means of competing with each other in virtuous deeds, but they do not realize this. 56 Surely those who live in awe of their Lord, 57 who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 And those who do not ascribe any partner to their Lord 59 And those who give what they give (in alms) while their hearts are full of fear that to their Lord they must return, 60 It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein. 61 And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are in perplexity as to this, and they have deeds besides that that they are doing. 63 Until, when We grasp those of them who lead a luxurious life with punishment, behold! They make humble invocation with a loud voice. 64 'Groan not today; surely you shall not be helped from Us. 65 My revelations were recited to you, but you turned your backs 66 being proud against it, talking foolishness by night. 67 Have they not pondered over the word of God? Has something come to them that did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or do they not recognise their Messenger, that they deny him? 69 Or do they say that there is madness in him? Nay, he has brought them the Truth and it is the Truth that most of them disdain. 70 Were the Truth to follow their desires, the order of the heavens and the earth and those who dwell in them would have been ruined. Nay, the fact is that We have brought to them their own remembrance; and yet it is from their own remembrance that they are turning away. 71 (Do they disbelieve because) you asked them for payment? The reward that you will receive from your Lord is the best. He is the best Provider. 72 And indeed, you invite them to a straight path. 73 but those who disbelieve in the Everlasting Life deviate from the Path. 74 ۞ Though We had mercy on them and relieved them of the harm afflicting them, they still would wander blindly on in their contumacy. 75 And already We overtook them with chastisement, but they were not submissive to their Lord, nor do they humble themselves. 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat. 77

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
