۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
