3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah called to Us, and We are the Best to answer. 75 And We rescued him and his household from the great calamity. 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 and We established for him a good name among posterity. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the nations. 79 As such We recompense the gooddoers, 80 he was one of Our believing worshipers. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart, 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 What do you imagine the Lord of the worlds to be?" 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars (to deceive them), 88 Then he said: Surely I am sick (of your worshipping these). 89 But they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?... 91 What is the matter with you, that you do not speak' 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. 94 He said: worship ye that which ye carve. 95 the while it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They said, “Construct a building (furnace) for him, and then cast him in the blazing fire!” 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 He said, "I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me. 99 My Lord, give me one of the righteous.' 100 So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' 102 And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 thou hast confirmed the vision; even so We recompense the good-doers. 105 That was indeed a trying test. 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Peace be unto Abraham! 109 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 110 for he was truly one of our believing servants. 111 And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac: but among the offspring of these two there were [destined] to be both doers of good and such as would glaringly sin against themselves. 113
