Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
