Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
May the hands of Abu Lahab perish! May he too perish! 1 His wealth did not avail him, nor his acquisitions. 2 he shall roast at a flaming fire 3 together with his wife, that carrier of evil tales, 4 Will have upon her neck a halter of palm-fibre. 5
True are the words of God the Almighty.
