Al-Mu' minoon 5 of 6
It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 And He it is Who multiplied you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 "Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!" 83 Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!" 84 They will say: Allah's. Say: Will you not then mind? 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?" 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 Allah has not taken to Himself any son, there is no other god with Him. Were this otherwise each god would have taken that which he created, and some of them would have risen above others; Exalted is Allah beyond that they describe! 91 Knower of the unseen and the seen, Exalted is He above that which they associate! 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
