The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 And those who drive [the clouds] 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment. 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
