The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 And ye will be three kinds: 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil! 9 Then the foremost, how pre-excellent, 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 In gardens of delight; 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few from the latter. 14 They will recline on jewelled couches 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 And fruit of what they select 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 A Reward for the deeds of their past (life). 24 No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin, 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 And those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 and serried acacias, 29 and spreading shade 30 and gushing water, 31 And abundant fruit, 32 undiminished and never denied 33 And exalted thrones. 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 and made them virgins, 36 Loving, equals in age, 37 All this will be for the People on the Right; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
