۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
