The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
