Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
