Do you not realize that We have sent Satan to incite the unbelievers to sin. 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son. 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
