Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 Well do We know how the earth consumes their bodies, for with Us is a record unfailing. 4 Nay, but they cried lies to the truth when it came to them, and so they are in a case confused. 5 Have they not then observed the sky above them, how We have constructed it and beautified it, and how there are no rifts therein? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 To be observed and commemorated by every devotee turning (to Allah). 8 And We have sent down from the heaven water and blest wherewith We have caused gardens to grow and the grain reaped. 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 and so did 'Ad, and Pharaoh and Lot's brethren, 13 the men of the Thicket, the people of Tubba'. Every one cried lies to the Messengers, and My threat came true. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
