Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 when heaven shall be split 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what day is it timed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 for an appointed time? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40
