O you who believe, seek courage in fortitude and prayer, for God is with those who are patient and persevere. 153 And say not of those slain in God's way, 'They are dead'; rather they are living, but you are not aware. 154 And We will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits; and give good news to the patient, 155 Those who say, when afflicted with a calamity, "We belong to God and to Him we shall return," 156 It is they who will receive blessings and mercy from God and who follow the right guidance. 157 ۞ Truly Safa and Marwa are the symbols of God. Whoever goes on pilgrimage to the House (of God), or on a holy visit, is not guilty of wrong if he walk around them; and he who does good of his own accord will find appreciation with God who knows everything. 158 Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture - those are cursed by Allah and cursed by those who curse, 159 Except those who repent and do righteous deeds, and openly declare (the truth which they concealed). These, I will accept their repentance. And I am the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful. 160 Verily, those who disbelieve, and die while they are disbelievers, it is they on whom is the Curse of Allah and of the angels and of mankind, combined. 161 They will abide therein: Their penalty will not be lightened, nor will respite be their (lot). 162 Your God is One God; there is no God except Him – the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 163
