۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
