Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the messengers. 139 When he ran to the laden ship, 140 And then drew lots and was of those rejected; 141 Then a (big) fish swallowed him and he had done an act worthy of blame. 142 Had he not been one of those who struggled hard, 143 he would have tarried in its belly until the day they shall be raised; 144 ۞ But We caused him to be cast forth on to the beach, sick as he was, 145 and We caused a gourd tree to grow over him. 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand or more people. 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), whether the daughters are for your Lord and the sons for them! 149 Or did We make the angels females, and they witnessed it? 150 Is it not a lie invented by them when they say: 151 "Allah has begotten off spring or children (i.e. angels are the daughters of Allah)?" And, verily, they are liars! 152 Hath He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement? 154 Then will you not be reminded? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]. 158 Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)! 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 for, verily, neither you [blasphemers] nor the objects of your worship 161 Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allah) anyone of the believers], 162 Except such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire! 163 (Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed; 164 Lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks, 165 and, verily, we too extol His limitless glory!" 166 What, would they then say: 167 "If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples, 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 but they have rejected it, [the Quran] and they shall soon learn! 170 for, long ago has Our word gone forth unto Our servants, the message-bearers, 171 That undoubtedly, only they will be helped. 172 And most surely Our host alone shall be the victorious ones. 173 Therefore turn away from them till a time, 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 When it descends into their courtyard, it will be terrible for those who have already been warned. 177 Stay away from them for a while 178 and see, soon they shall see! 179 Too glorious is your Lord, the Lord of power, for what they ascribe to Him. 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
