We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
