Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 and the severally severing 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
