Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Abundance diverts you, 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty; 7 and on that Day you will most surely be called to account for [what you did with] the boon of life! 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
