The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ TRULY, to a happy state shall attain the believers: 1 Those who humble themselves in their prayers; 2 And those who from everything vain turn away. 3 And who are givers of poor-rate, 4 and restrain their carnal desires 5 Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed - 6 And whosoever seeketh beyond that, then it is these who are the transgressors 7 And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive 8 And those who of their prayers are observant. 9 These are they who are the heirs, 10 Who will inherit paradise. There they will abide. 11 And indeed We created man (Adam) out of an extract of clay (water and earth). 12 then We made him, a drop, in a secure receptacle (the womb). 13 Then We created of the drop, a clot (of congealed blood) and We created the clot into bitesize tissue, then We created the bitesize tissue into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it an other creation. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators! 14 Then after that you will most surely die. 15 Then (again), surely, you will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And We created above you seven ways, and We were not heedless of creation. 17 And We sent down water from the sky in proper measure, then stored it in the earth; and indeed We are Able to take it away! 18 We grow orchards of dates and grapes from it for you, Which yield fruits in abundance that you eat. 19 and a tree issuing from the Mount of Sinai that bears oil and seasoning for all to eat. 20 There are lessons for you in the cattle from whose bellies We give you milk to drink, and there are other advantages that you derive from them, and some of them you eat; 21 And on them, and on ships you are carried. 22
