It is He who produced for you hearing, and eyes, and hearts; little thanks you show. 78 And He it is Who multiplied you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; this is naught but stories of those of old. 83 Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!" 84 [And they will reply: "Unto God." Say: "Will you not, then, bethink yourselves [of Him]?" 85 Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme?" 86 They will surely say: God. Say thou: will ye not then fear? 87 Say: 'In whose hand is the dominion of everything, protecting and Himself unprotected, if you have knowledge?' 88 'Allah' they will reply. Say: 'How then can you be so bewitched' 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind and hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity! 92
