And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
