Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And those that strike violently, 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 and the severally severing 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a known term? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
