Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 to those who make display 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
