Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 They have said that the Beneficent God has given birth to a son. 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 We have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
