▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
