The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
