The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
