The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the chargers panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
