It is God who has created ears, eyes, and hearts for you. Little are the thanks that you give. 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 And He it is Who quickeneth and causeth to die, and His is the alternation of night and day; will ye not then reflect? 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will say, "To God." Say, "So will you not pay heed? 85 Say: "Who is (the) Lord of the seven heavens, and (the) Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 In fact We brought the Truth to them, and indeed they are liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 who has knowledge of the Unseen and the Visible; high exalted be He, above that they associate! 92
