The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 Indeed we and our fathers had been promised this before. It is nothing but the earlier people's lore." 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say, "Perhaps some of the things which you wish to experience immediately are very close to you." 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 There is not a thing hidden in the heaven and earth except that it is in a Clear Book. 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 It is a guidance and grace for those who believe. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 [But,] verily, thou canst not make the dead hear: and [so, too,] thou canst not make the deaf [of heart] hear this call when they turn their backs [on thee] and go away, 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the Word (of torment) is fulfilled against them, We shall bring out from the earth a beast to them, which will speak to them because mankind believed not with certainty in Our Ayat (Verses of the Quran and Prophet Muhammad SAW). 82
