We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
