Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
