And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 (We commanded him): “Stamp your foot on earth, and here is cool water to wash with and to drink.” 42 And We granted him his family and a like [number] with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for those of understanding. 43 We said to Him, "Take a handful of twigs in your hand and strike with that but do not break your oath." We found him steadfast. What an excellent servant! He turned constantly to his Lord. 44 And remember Our servants -- Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- they were endowed with great strength and vision. 45 Verily, We did choose them by granting them (a good thing, i.e.) the remembrance of the home [in the Hereafter and they used to make the people remember it, and also they used to invite the people to obey Allah and to do good deeds for the Hereafter]. 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 Remember [Our servants] Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu'l-Kifl. Each of them was among the just. 48 This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are open to them, 50 wherein they shall recline, wherein they shall ask for abundant fruit and drinks, 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 This is what you were promised on the Day of Reckoning: 53 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 54 This: and verily for the exorbitant there shall be an evil retreat: 55 Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place. 56 This is so! Then let them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges. 57 and other torments of the like kind coupled together. 58 This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire. 59 [And] they [who had been seduced] will exclaim: "Nay, but it is you! No welcome to you! It is you who have prepared this for us: and how vile a state to abide in!" 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" 63 Surely that is true -- the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire. 64
