Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
God the Almighty always says the truth.
