Ha. Mim. 1 By the Clear Book, 2 We have made it an Arabic Quran so that you may understand. 3 And the Qur’an is undoubtedly, in the Original Book with Us, surely the exalted, full of wisdom. 4 Can We ignore sending you the Quran just because you are a transgressing people? 5 And how many Prophets We did send among the earlier people! 6 No Prophet came to them whom they did not mock. 7 Then We destroyed those who were stronger than these in prowess, and the case of the ancients has gone before, 8 Yet, if you ask them who created the heavens and the earth, they will answer: 'The Almighty, the Knower created them' 9 He it is who has made the earth a cradle for you, and has provided for you ways [of livelihood] thereon, so that you might follow the right path. 10 And who sends down rain from the sky in measured amounts, and We revive thereby a dead land - thus will you be brought forth - 11 He Who created all the pairs, and appointed for you ships and cattle whereupon ye ride. 12 so that you may sit firmly on their backs. Then once you have mounted them, remember your Lord's favour and say, "Glory be to Him who has subjected these creatures to us; we would never on our own have subdued them. 13 “And indeed we have to return to our Lord.” 14 And from* His bondmen, they appointed a portion for Him; man is indeed an open ingrate. (* Appointed some of His creation as His sons and daughters). 15
