Verily, the tree of Zaqqum, 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 (A voice will cry: "Seize ye him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire! 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water, 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place; 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 They shall not taste therein of death, save the first death, And He shall guard them against the chastisement of Hell -- 56 as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59
