And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
