Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
