▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. 46 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 47 Containing all kinds (of trees and delights);- 48 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 49 In both of them are two fountains flowing. 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 53 They shall recline on couches lined with brocade, and within reach shall hang the fruits of the two Gardens. 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 56 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 57 As though rubies and pearls. 58 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. 62 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 63 Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In both of them are two springs gushing forth. 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 Therein will be damsels agreeable and beauteous. 70 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 71 with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. 72 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 73 Untouched before them by man or jinni - 74 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78
