Pray, “My Lord! If You show me the promise they are given,” 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 And indeed We are Able to show you (O Muhammad SAW) that with which We have threatened them. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 then those whose scales weigh heavy with good works will be successful. 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known! 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 Hence, he who invokes, side by side with God, any other deity - [a deity] for whose existence he has no evidence - shall but find his reckoning with his Sustainer: [and,] verily, such deniers of the truth will never attain to a happy state! 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
