Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
