The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the snorting chargers, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
