۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
