The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 dividing the gathering. 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
