Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish! May he too perish! 1 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 And his wife also: the firewood carrier; 4 [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands! 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
