Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
