(And recount to them the story of Moses) when Moses said to his servant: "I will journey on until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I may march on for ages." 60 Then, when they reached their meeting, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, burrowing. 61 When they had gone past (the confluence), Moses said to his servant: "Give me my breakfast. I am exhausted from this journey." 62 He said: "You see, I forgot the fish on the rock where we had stopped. Only Satan made me forget to mention this; but the wonder is the fish escaped to the sea." 63 Moses said: "But that is exactly what we were seeking." So they retraced their steps. 64 So they found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence. 65 Moses said unto him: "May I follow thee on the understanding that thou wilt impart to me something of that consciousness of what is right which has been imparted to thee?" 66 He said: "You will not be able to bear with me. 67 "And how can you have patience about a thing which you know not?" 68 Said Moosa, “Allah willing, you will soon find me patient and I will not do anything against your instructions.” 69 He said: then if thou wilt follow me ask me not of anything until I begin thereof some mention. 70
